A capacitor is a device used to store an electrical charge. Capacitors resist changes in voltage, allowing alternate current (AC) to pass while blocking direct current (DC).

Among te other components listed, the nearest to the opposite of a capacitor is an inductor. Inductors are also passive electronic components that store electrical energy. However, inductors resist changes in current (instead of voltage), allowing DC current to pass through them while blocking AC current.
